The ski season is in full force until early April to try if, in the North Shore trails, while you’re there. The side of Whistler-Blackcomb will host the Winter Olympics of 2010. Interior of British Columbia offers some of the biggest ski areas of the powder in the province. You can at Big White in Kelowna, British Columbia, being less than one hour trip to Penticton, British Columbia, and Apex Ski Resort and Silver Star in Vernon, British Columbia. But not enough, you can not forget absoultely Sun Peaks Resort, just 45 minutes from Kamloops, British Columbia.

Although there are many great sites of spring skiing in British Columbia, it depends on what you are looking to find the best experience for you and your family. It may be more of a family trip you want – in this case, Silver Star and Sun Peaks are beautiful villages that are not too commercialized. Or for the more distant places like Fernie Alpine Resort in Fernie, British Columbia, or go to Kicking Horse Mountain, near Golden, British Columbia.
